Lada John Machart, age 89 of Seguin, passed away on August 6, 2010. Visitation will begin at Tres Hewell Mortuary on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. followed by an evening service at 7:00 p.m. Private graveside services will be held at a later date in San Juan Cemetery in Geronimo. Lada was born on April 2, 1921 in Calliham, Texas to Frank and Mary Kozubik Machart. His parents preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Otila Machart; children, Mark Machart and wife Carla, Martha Machart Dodge, Matthew Machart and wife Sonia and Lada Machart, Jr. ; sisters, Annie Neuman, Jannie Shisler and husband Rex and Mary Taylor; brother, Frank Machart; several grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
