Larry Dean Oliver, of Seguin, passed away on June 3, 2016 at the age of 57. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary followed by a funeral service at 1p.m. with Rev. Martha Fleming officiating. Interment will follow at San Geronimo Cemetery. Larry was born August 21, 1958 in Taylor, Texas to Roy Edgar and Janet Katherine (Krueger) Oliver. Larry was raised and went to college in Vernon, Texas where he met and became friend with country singer Tanya Tucker. They would always get together at the local rodeo and later go bowling at the alley where Larry worked. Larry was also a great sports fan. He was a Miami Dolphins fan as a child, but later became particularly fond of the Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs. Larry had a traveling spirit. He worked with custom combines and he farmed all over the heartland of America. He is preceded in death by his father Roy. Larry is survived by his mother, Janet Coffman; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loving family members and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Richard Krueger, Mark Krueger, Troy Krueger, Carl (Rusty) Krueger, Ricky Krueger, Bobby Krueger, and Honorary pallbearer Gary Sheehan.
