Larry Wayne Remmler, age 60 of New Berlin, passed away on November 4, 2011. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Chaplain Gail Uhlig officiating. Private interment will be held at a later date. Larry was born on November 13, 1950 in New Braunfels, Texas to Hilmar and Norma Moehrig Remmler. He was a graduate of New Braunfels High School Class of 1969. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Larry will be remembered as an expert farrier and one of the last true cowboys. He is preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his loving wife, Donnelle C. Remmler; mother, Norma Remmler; children, Zan Ayne Fry and husband John, Jason Zoboroski and wife Melisa, and Tiffany Wurzbach and husband Jeffrey; brother, Nelson Remmler and wife Janie; sister, Darlene Raderstorf and husband Jerry; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; numerous other loving family members and friends. Larry touched the lives of many people and he will be greatly missed.
