Lawrence "Larry" Barker, age 86 of Seguin, passed away on November 30, 2014. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Graveside services and interment will be held on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Springs Family Cemetery, 9700 FM 466 in Guadalupe County, with Rev. Roy Hall officiating. Larry was born on July 10, 1928 in San Antonio Texas to Lawrence and Elizabeth (Gocher) Barker. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Frances and his grandson Jacob Springs. Survivors include his children, Larry Barker, Donna Norris, Janice Schwab, Michael Barker, Karen Barker, Martha Freed, Corky Barker, Rissa Springs and Jack Barker; sister, Carolyn Sue Kelly; brother, Kenneth Barker; 36 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members.
