Lee Jay Bielke of Marion passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the age of 75. He was born on November 8, 1938 in Seguin to Edwin and Helna (Zunker) Bielke. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Charles Bielke, brother- in-law John Busby, Jr, brother and sister-in- law Willie and Florine Randow, son-in-law Sammy Leach and nephew Wade Busby. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lorene Randow Bielke, children Laurie Leach, Lana Luddeke and husband Russell and Lance Bielke and wife Peggy, grandchildren Matthew Luddeke, Kelsey (Ross) Brunner, Kyle (Hailey) Leach, Shawn Leach, Ryan Bielke and Gregory Bielke, great grandchildren Breelynn Fennell-Leach and Jarron Sosa, sister Darlene Busby, sister- in-law Mariann Bielke, nieces and nephews Garth (Angela) Bielke, Patti (Don) Dilworth, Robyn Busby and Jeffrey Randow. Lee Jay worked for many years as a feed and seed salesman for Hild Bros. He played drums and the accordion in the Stardusters Band, worked the land with his father and brother and was an avid 9-pin bowler. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing, gardening, playing dominos and excursions to Coushatta. He was a member of the Redeemer United Church of Christ, Marion Hermann Sons Lodge, Zorn Bowling Club, Marion Bowling Club, Bexar Bowling Club, Germania Bowling Club, Hochheim Prairie Farm Mutual. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26 from 1-7 pm with the family receiving friends from 5-7 pm at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 27, at 2 pm at Redeemer United Church of Christ in Zuehl with Rev. Lee Zillmann officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Redeemer United Church of Christ, 7415 Gin Road, Marion, TX 78124, Zorn Bowling Club, 450 Oak Springs Drive, Seguin, TX 78155 or to the charity of one's choice. Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Luddeke, Ross Brunner, Kyle Leach, Shawn Leach, Ryan Bielke, Gregory Bielke, Garth Bielke and Jeffrey Randow. Honorary pallbearers will be members of their domino and bowling groups.
