Lenda Sue Harkins Bedford, age 78 of Seguin, passed away on October 6, 2018. Visitation will be held at Tres Hewell Mortuary on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Chaplain Rhonda Robbins officiating. Interment will follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Lenda was born on August 4, 1940 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Worth Martin and Velma Gladys (Jackson) Harkins. Lenda is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Richard "Dick" Bedford, her parents and her brothers Jack Harkins and Tommy Harkins. Survivors include her daughter, Robin Bedford Arroues and husband Rick; son, Roger Bedford; grandchildren, Denise Lyssy and husband Brian, SSgt Cassandra Woodard, USAF and husband MSgt Joshua Woodard, USAF, Rachel Bedford and David Bedford; great-grandchildren, Tenley, Jacob, Jacelyn, Jordana, Allison, Aiden and Jade; brother, Billy Harkins and wife Ebbie; sisters-in-law, Fanny Harkins and Linda Harkins; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, other loving family members and friends. The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff at CIMA Hospice who have lovingly cared for Lenda.
