Leo was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose love, strength, and kindness touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. He will forever be remembered for his talent in the kitchen, great stories, awesome company & sharing his Irish & German Heritage with everyone around him. He loved music, dancing, taking trips, fine dining, exploring, setting up romantic dates & taking on any adventure that came his way together with his loving wife by his side.
He was born on May 15, 1956, in Brooklyn NY to his loving parents, Cathleen Lemihan and Gustase Ehring.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Cynthia Ehring (Cindy) of 16 years, Siblings Thomas & Maureen. His sons Sean Ehring, Brian P. Gonzalez, and Steven A. Cervantes (wife, Tanya). His greatest joy was his family, and he was incredibly proud of each of them.
He was also a cherished grandfather to 9 Grandchildren, and a loving great-grandfather to 5 Great Grandchildren who brought immense happiness to his life, and he treasured every moment spent with them. His love, stories, laughter, and wisdom will continue to live on through each generation.
He was preceded in death by his parents Cathleen Lemihan and Gustase Ehring, Brother Richard Ehring and his daughter Lisa A. Mora
He leaves behind a beautiful family and a lifetime of memories that will never be forgotten. Though our hearts are broken by his absence, we find comfort knowing that his love will remain with us forever. Every story told, every family gathering, every laugh, and every tradition shared will keep his memory alive.
His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and he will be deeply missed and forever loved.
“Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day—unseen, unheard, but always nearby.
