Leonardo Zamora, Jr., age 64 of Nixon, passed away on October 22, 2025.  Leonard was born on October 10, 1961 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Ernestina (Sanchez) and Leonardo M. Zamora Sr. Leonard was a 1980 graduate of Nixon High School in Nixon, Texas.

Leonard is preceded in death by his father, his sister, Tina Crawford, and his brother, Geronimo Zamora.

Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Zamora; children, Aymidale Ledesma and husband Adam, Leonard Zamora, III, Nathaniel Zamora, and Daniel Len Zamora; grandchildren, Isabel, Emily, Victoria, Leonard IV, Adrian, Emerie, Regan, Rosalynn, Reece and Westly; mother, Ernestina Sanchez Zamora; siblings, Gracey Carrillo (Frank), and Ruben Hernandez; sister-in-law, Flora Zamora; along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of life for Leonardo Zamora Jr. will be held Monday, October 27, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Faith Temple Fellowship Hall, 400 N Nixon Ave., Nixon, Texas, 78140.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
