Ligia Benjumea, age 66 of Seguin, passed away on June 11, 2012. A memorial mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 409 W. Krezdorn St, Seguin, TX 78155. Private interment will be held at a later date. Ligia was born Medellin, Colombia on May 23, 1946 to Guillermo and Maria Gabriela Morales Betancourt. She and her husband Fabio, have owned San Anthony Jewelry in Seguin for 33 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Fabio Benjumea; children, Sandra B. Reyes and husband Joe Manuel, Mauricio Benjumea and wife Angela, and Alex Pizarro and wife Carmen; grandchildren, Jessica, Crystal, Kimberly, Steven, Kelsey, Todd, Nicholas, Hannah, Ryan and Ty; siblings, Gilma Otero, Gonzalo Betancourt, Gabriel Betancur, Marta Londono, Elkin Betancourt, Guillermo Betancourt and Adriana Perez; mother-in-law, Guillermina Velez Benjumea; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends. Ligia loved her family and will be remembered as a great wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be missed. Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice, 611 N.
