Linda Sue Mulkey, age 59 of Bertram, formerly of Seguin, passed away on September 3, 2016. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 8th, 2016 from 5 to 7 pm at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 9th, 2016 at 10 am at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Layne Dietz officiating. Interment will follow in Concrete Cemetery in La Vernia.

Linda was born on June 7, 1957 in Seguin, Texas to Aubrey and Elsie Louise (Cleghorn) Eckols. For the past 14 years, Linda has spent her life with her husband Jim in Bertram where she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends. Her faith stayed strong throughout the challenges of life and she will be eternally missed. "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28

Linda is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Audrey "Elouise" Houlton. Survivors include her loving husband, Jim Mulkey; children, Jennifer Schulze and husband Eric, Amanda Rush, Eric Rush and fiancé Niha Anney; Lydia Hinson and husband Lee; grandchildren Lexi Moore, Abby Moore, Brooke Hinson, Ty Hinson, Garrett Schulze and Colby Schulze; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, loving family members and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be her husband Jim, son Eric, two sons-in-law, Eric Schulze and Lee Hinson, along with two family friends, Daniel Schulze and Hank Crick.
