Former Guadalupe County Clerk Lizzie Mae Lorenz, age 81 of Seguin, went home to be with Our Lord on August 12, 2015. She was a loving Mother and Nee Nee to her children and grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, August 16, 2015 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 3 to 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 17, 2015 at Cross Church at 10 a.m. with Rev. Jim Price officiating. Interment will follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Lizzie was born on October 31, 1933 in Seguin, Texas to Tillman Jesse "T.J.", and Martha Mae (Cockrill) Green. Lizzie was a graduate of Dowdy High School. She proudly served her community as the Guadalupe County Clerk from 1987 to 2002. She served as Deputy County Clerk for eleven years prior. She was a member of the Guadalupe County Republican Party, The County and District Clerks Association of Texas, and a faithful member of Cross Church. Lizzie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leroy Lorenz, Sr., brothers Jesse Green, Lewis Green and Tillman Green, sisters Maxine Nickell Raske and Annabelle Miller and grandson Derek Bradshaw. Survivors include daughter, Martha Lynn Hoffmann, sons Leroy Lorenz, Jr. (Leigh Ann) and Michael Lorenz (Rebecca), sister Jody Schievelbein (LeeRoy), brother in law Lester Lorenz, grandchildren Shane Hoffmann, Kelly Hoffmann, Christina Quintanilla (Joel), Gregory Lorenz, Lori Gonzales (Jacob), Veronica Bixenmann, Jennifer Bradshaw, Courtney Lorenz, Cody Lorenz, 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Shane Hoffmann, Kelly Hoffmann, Gregory Lorenz, Johnathon Hoffmann, Ryan Hoffmann and Tyler Hoffmann. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Cody Lorenz, LeeRoy Schievelbein and Lester Lorenz. Memorial contributions may be made to Cross Church, 814 N.
