Lonnie Lee Eckhart, age 57 of Kingsbury, passed away on February 21, 2020. A memorial service celebrating Lonnie's life will be held from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Milltown Gallery, 540 Porter Street, New Braunfels, Texas 78130.  Lonnie was born on August 4, 1962 in Lehighton, Pennsylvania to William and Peggyann (Berger) Eckhart. Lonnie is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Rory Eckhart. Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years, Sally Eckhart; children, Jon Haskins, Kendel Eckhart, and Valerie Sulma and husband Zac; granddaughters, Bella and Lilly Sulma; sisters, Laura Mitchell and Lisa Honey and husband Mike; brother, Scott Eckhart; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Pam Schneider; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and many many friends. Lonnie Lee was a long-distance truck driver for many years, he was a hardworking, kindhearted man who loved his family deeply and never met a stranger. As well as being a hard worker, he was a musician that spent many hours recording and making music with his sons which created many cherished memories. He will be remembered for his contagious smile and happy days. Lonnie lived life to the fullest and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
