The cowboy rode away on September 9, 2017 at the age of 75. Lonnie Earl Mosley, of Seguin was born on October 18, 1941 in New Braunfels to Lonnie and Annie Mae (Greir) Mosley. Lonnie was a true lover of life; he was a charismatic person who could light up any room he was in. Lonnie loved to dance, and never missed a Friday night at the Silver Center. Lonnie was also a passionate horse racer. He owned and raced several thoroughbred horses and was devoted to the sport. Lonnie is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, David Mosley. He is survived by his devoted sister, Linda Donegan and husband, Trip; son, Todd Mosley and wife, Sara; daughter Tammy Escobedo and husband, Art; several grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
