Lorena Louise Wardell, age 88 of Seguin, passed away on December 29, 2009. Services will be held at a later date. Lorena was born on January 18, 1921 in Clifton, Texas to Willie and Polly Shamburger. Lorena was a member of First Baptist Church in Seguin. Her parents and her husband, Charles Murphy Wardell preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter Janice Bessette and husband, Pastor Mark D. Bessette; grandson, Jeffrey Charles Breitschopf.
