Lorraine Marthamae Siegel Miller was born 1-2-1941 in Little Falls, MN. She was the daughter of Robert and Maybelle (Gammon) Siegel and the "well adjusted middle child" born after the birth of her older brother Loren Robert and before the youngest Elvin Dwight Siegel.
Lorraine graduated from Little Falls High School in 1958 and graduated from Miller School of Practical Nursing in 1959 as an LPN. Lorraine worked in the medical field until her marriage to David Herbert Miller on October 20, 1962. Their son Paul David was born May 7, 1967 and John Herbert was born November 29, 1969.
The Millers lived in Minnesota, Illinois, North Dakota for 15 years, Ohio, Washington, and Texas.
While living in Illinois, Lorraine acknowledged and accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and has attempted to serve and rejoice in her Heavenly Father's provision.
Survivors include her husband David; her son Paul David Miller, his wife Amanda, and grandchildren Jonathon, Alexandra, Timothy, Christopher, and Benjamin of Bedford, New Hampshire; her son John Herbert Miller, his wife Jennifer and grandchildren Luke Lawrence and Leanna Lorraine of Bloomfield, Colorado; her brothers, Elvin Siegel and wife Carol, and Loren Siegel and wife Joni; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family members. Lorraine passed away on December 22, 2014. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Tom Jones officiating.
