Lottie F. Driggers, age 88 of Seguin, passed away on May 25, 2017. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 5-7 PM at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Jim Price officiating. Interment will follow at San Geronimo cemetery. Lottie was born on August 28, 1928 in Longview, Texas to Lee and Myra (Strong) Wilson. Lottie met and married Bryan William Driggers, and together raised three children, but Lottie was the Matriarch of the family. She was a lovely and feisty women, a trait that served her well when she managed the family restaurant, K/N Root Beer Stand. After she and Bryan sold the business, Lottie continued to work in the restaurant business with her dear friends who owned K&G Steakhouse. She was such a presence in the place that she was often mistaken for the owner. Once she finally retired, Lottie liked to spend her time golfing, and at the Flamingo casino in Las Vegas. She loved to shoot craps and always had a crowd rooting her on. Lottie was a wonderfully stong woman and mom, who will be greatly missed by her family. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Bryan William Driggers; son, Freddie Driggers; grandson, John Mergele; her parents; siblings, Frances Freeman, May Lou Bennett, Kathleen Conley, and Ernest "Buddy" Wilson. Lottie is survived by her children, Bobby Driggers and wife Dana, David "Stick" Driggers and wife Carol; grandchildren, Michelle Steinberg and husband, Noah, Shawn Mergele, Scott Driggers and wife, Angelica; Bryan Driggers and former wife, Kim; Robbi Craig and husband, Matt; 9 great-grandchildren; long-time friend; Bill Walden; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Peyton Driggers, Bryan Driggers, Shawn Mergele, Matt Craig, Scott Driggers, and Wayne Bennett. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice.
