Obituary

Lottie Mae Kwast Hastings, age 97 of Seguin, passed away on October 20, 2024.  Lottie was born on March 9, 1927 in Seguin, Texas, to Erna Ella (Friedeck) and Fritz Henry Kwast.

Lottie is preceded in death by her husband's Robert "Bob" Chadwell and Green Van "G. V." Hastings, her daughter, Diane Gill, her parents, and her siblings, Lillian Hodges, Annie Lee Spears Travis, Ora Mae Schneider and Reno Kwast.

Survivors include her son-in-law, Wayne Gill; grandson, Tony Sabatino and wife Jana; great-granddaughter, Nikki Sabatino; step-grandson, Terry Gill; step-great grandsons, Tyler Gill and Mark Gill; sister, Irene Berry and husband Irvin; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and a host of friends including her Eden Cross Friends.

Visitation will begin on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary followed by funeral service at 2:30 p.m. with Rusty Kwast officiating.  Private interment will be held at a later date in Mission Burial Park South in San Antonio, Texas.
