Our dear daddy and PoPo, Louis Hardy Nobis, went to heaven to be with his Lord and beloved WoWo, April 21, 2009 at the age of 93. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years, Matilda Nobis. He is survived by his daughters, Sandra Haecker and JoAnn Castle and her husband, Floyd; 6 grandchildren, Larry Haecker (Melissa), Gary Haecker (Toleia), Pamela Haecker (Phillip), Clayton Kruse (Teri), Jeff Kruse (Diane), Debbie Williams (John); 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Ralph Nobis. Visitation will be held at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel on Sunday, April 26, 2009 from 4 to 7 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 27, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Seguin, Texas with Rev. Dennis Darilek officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
