Louis Paul Wahl, Jr., age of 74 of Seguin, passed away on May 5, 2018. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Marcus Bigott officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Louis was born on July 31, 1943 in New Braunfels Texas to Louis August and Norma Rose (Elbel) Wahl. Louis attended the University of Texas at Austin before proudly serving his country in the United States Navy. He was a life member of the American Legion H U Wood Post 245 in Seguin, The University of Texas Exes, and the Democratic Party of Guadalupe County. Louis spent his career as a cartographer and surveyor, in his free time he enjoyed farming, model trains, UT football, and being with his family. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, numerous aunts and uncles, and his brother-in-law. Survivors include his sister Patsy Metzner, brother, Michael Wahl, sister-in law Donna Wahl, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews.
