Hannah
LTC Harold E. Hannah, USAF (Ret.), age 79 of New Braunfels, formerly of Port Arthur, passed away on November 22, 2009. Graveside services and interment with Full Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at Nockenut Cemetery with Deacon Robert Elliott officiating. Harold was born on November 27, 1929 in Port Arthur, Texas the beloved son of Henry and Beatrice Rome Hannah. He graduated from St. James High School and then graduated from Texas A & M University. He served in Air Force Intelligence and later worked for 35 years at Gulf Oil Refinery. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending quality time with his family and friends. His parents and loving brother, Raymond Clifford Hannah preceded him in death. He is survived by the love of his life, his devoted wife of 57 years, Clara Joy and their three children, Belinda Joy Tortorice, Terri Lynn Elliott and Mark Edward Hannah and his wife, Genet and children Steve and Justin. He is also survived by his most wonderful grandchildren of whom he was most proud, his grandson, Brandon Lee Elliott who followed his grandfather into the Corp of Cadets, Amanda Michelle Elliott, a graduate of Baylor University and Kristin Elizabeth Elliott, student at Baylor University. He is also survived by one nephew, Gary Hannah and his wife Jeannie and their children Monica Baker and Valerie Hannah.
