Lucille Riley Gaedecke, age 85 of Seguin, passed away on August 10, 2011. Visitation will be held at Tres Hewell Mortuary on Friday, August 12, 2011 from 2 to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Kathy Edwards officiating. Interment will be private at a later date. Lucille was born on April 29, 1926 in Carthage, Missouri to Lev and Mary Jamison Riley. She proudly served her country in the United States Army during World War II where she served in the Women's Army Corp as a nurse. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Gaedecke, son, Steven Clyde Gaedecke, her parents and her brothers, Dennis and Keith Riley. Survivors include her daughters, Marylou G. Hunt and husband Scott, and Patricia Albert and husband John; brothers, Ross Riley and wife Jackie, and Jerry Riley and wife Julie; sister, Kathy Cooper and husband Ray; grandchildren, Laura Hunt, Zachary Hunt and wife Jill, Leah Saucedo, John Michael Albert and Crystal Albert; great-grandson, Wyatt Roelke; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
