Lucinda DeLeon, age 91 of Seguin, passed away on March 10, 2017. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Dave Diercksen officiating. A reception will follow in Karrick Hall. Private interment will be held at a later date at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Lucinda was born on March 25, 1925 in Palacios Texas to Pedro and Tomasa (Solis) Martinez. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Consuelo Martinez Lopez. Survivors include her loving husband of 71 years, Col. Mike DeLeon, USAF(ret.); children, Michael DeLeon and wife Kathy, Sandra Martinez, Kevin DeLeon and wife Janet; sister-in-law, Angie Garza and husband Rene; aunt, Ruby Young; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and friends.
