Luis Z. "Lucas" Rios, age 70 of Seguin, passed away on October 3, 2016. A visitation will begin on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 5 pm followed by the recitation of the rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel. A procession will depart Tres Hewell Mortuary on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. for 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Guadalupe. Interment with military honors will follow at San Geronimo Cemetery. Luis was born on May 6, 1946 to Luis and Lidia (Zapata) Rios. He proudly served his country serving in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary, his parents, and his brother Domingo Sauceda. Survivors include his children, Lisa Ancira and husband Tom; Flora Guerrero, Luis Rios and wife Cindy, and Johnny Ray Rios; brothers, Juan Sauceda and wife Mary, Jose Sauceda and wife Minerva, and Albert Sauceda and wife Veronica; sisters, Lydia Gomez and husband Pablo "Chachi", Esmeralda Cevallos and husband Joe John "Lala", Carmen Johnson and Rosa Hernandez; 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
