M. Faye Wrinkle, age 80 of Wilson County formerly of Lancaster California, passed away on October 22, 2015. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Dr. Brice Mandaville officiating. Interment will follow in the Nockenut Cemetery in Wilson County. Faye was born on September 13, 1935 in Dunning Nebraska to Percy and Dixie (Zierlein) Bassett. Faye will be remembered as an educator in Lancaster School District in Lancaster California. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Harold Bassett, her sister Mickey Bassett Joedeman and her daughter-in-law, Jennifer Barnes Wrinkle. Survivors include her sons, Jeffrey Wrinkle of Wilson County and Jon Wrinkle of San Diego California; grandchildren, Kyle, Kimbree and Ethan Wrinkle of Wilson County; brother, Duane Bassett of Blythdale Missouri; sisters, Norma Jean Bassett of Sultan Washington and Carolyn Bassett Eberly and husband Larry of Hesperia California; former spouse, Donald Wayne Wrinkle and wife Mary of Palmdale California; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
