Marcia Christine "Christi" Freeman, age 65 of Seguin, passed away on November 13, 2017. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 12 noon to 4 p.m. at the family home. Private interment will be held at San Geronimo Cemetery. Christi was born on August 27, 1952 in Seguin Texas, to Howard Smith and Pauline Armstrong Smith Lindsey. She graduated from the Seguin High School Class of 1970 and will be fondly remembered as the former owner of Charmaine's Salon. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Jim Freeman, her mother and her niece Wendy Kelly. Survivors include her sons, Jay Freeman, and Shane Freeman and wife Lisa; daughters, Alaiya Freeman, Katelynne Freeman, and Jeanne Stryker; granddaughters, Christina Stryker and Emily Leslie; grandson, Layne Freeman; father, Howard Smith and wife Peggy; brothers, Paul Smith and wife Judye, and Brad Smith; sister, Joy Kelly and husband Chris; numerous other loving family members and many friends. Christi was loved and will be missed by her loving family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to MD Anderson or any cancer charity of choice.
