Marco "Mark" Rivas

Marco “Mark” Rivas, age 60 of Seguin passed away on February 20, 2026. Marco was born on May 15, 1965, to Graciela (Moreno) and Santos Rivas, Sr.

He is preceded in death by his father, Santos Rivas Sr., and wife, Ramona “Mona” Rivas.

Survivors include his mother, Graciela Moreno; daughter Ashley and son-in-law, Jacob Perez; sons, Anthony Rivas and Ethan Rivas; grandchildren, Xavier, Aaiden, Audrina, Lillyana and Jake Ryan; siblings, Isabel Cortez, Pearl Rivas, Carmela Rivas, Santos Rivas Jr., Rita Olivas, Veronica Lowe and Ralph Rivas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, co-workers and other loving family members.

Mark dedicated 21 years of hard work to Seguin Chevrolet. His life revolved around his love for cars, whether he was working under the hood or making sure they were spotless and shining. A true homebody, Mark’s routine was simple: go to work, come home, and spend time working on cars. He was talkative, loved to joke, and it was easy for anyone to strike up a conversation with. Mark enjoyed going to the racetrack and attending car shows, always appreciating the craftsmanship and thrill of the automotive world. He was a simple man who found happiness in the little things, like firing up the BBQ for himself, family, and friends. Above all, Mark adored his grandchild, lovingly called “Baby Brats,” who brought him immense joy.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary with a service to begin at 6:30 p.m. with Pastor David Mullins officiating.
