After a long illness, Margie Nickell Rawlinson, age 90 of Seguin, passed from this earth and into the arms of her savior on February 12, 2015. Margie was born January 3, 1925 to Richard S. and Lura Lea Nickell. She was the youngest of nine children. In 1940, she met and married RQ Rawlinson. He remained the love of her life even after his death in 1976. Margie was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband and her son Richard Rawlinson. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Patricia Wahl and husband Bob, her son Thomas Rawlinson and wife Betty and 5 grandchildren Robert T. Wahl, Shauna Rawlinson, Vickie Perez and husband Edward, Vanessa Gonzales and husband Gabe, and Joshua Rawlinson. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and loyal friend Mary Jo Cuvelier. Many other relatives and friends also mourn her passing. Visitation will begin at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel on Monday, February 16, 2015 at 9 a.m. followed by funeral services at 10:00 am with Rev. Jim Price officiating. Interment will follow in Dugger Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Herbold, Calvin Haugen, Eric Haugen, Gabe Gonzales, Robert T. Wahl, Joshua Rawlinson and Joey Lowrance.
