Maria Louisa Garcia, age 61 of Seguin, passed away on August 3, 2013. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2013 from 5-7 with a prayer service at 7p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Pastoral assistant Arturo Palomarez and Lay minister Tina Luna officiating. Interment will follow at San Geronimo Cemetery. Maria was born November 1, 1951 in La Mesa, Texas to Jose and Eloisa Bencomo. She was a health care provider who loved taking care of others. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, shopping, dancing and she found comfort in cooking for her children. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Eloisa Bencomo, sister, Elidia Pena and brothers, Jose Marez, Melquiades Marez, Felipe Marez and Aurelio Marez. She is survived by her husband, Enrique Garcia, Sr; children, Victoria Burrell, Monica Machado and fiancé Gilbert Resendez, Jr., Enrique Garcia, Jr and fiancée Frances Garcia, Joshua Garcia and fiancée Elizabeth Tijerina, Sonia Garza and husband Jacob; 20 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Frances Urquiza and husband Moses and Guadalupe Polanco and numerous nieces and nephews.
