Maria Luisa Rosas, age 79 of Marion, passed away on December 21, 2017. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m. Visitation will resume at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 10 AM, followed by the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 10:30 AM. The Mass of Christian burial will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at a later date in Valle de Santiago, Guanajuato, Mexico. Maria was born in Valle de Santiago, Guanajuato, Mexico on February 15, 1938 to Ascencion and Maria Isidra (Garcia) Lara. Survivors include her husband Bernardo Rosas; sons, Salomon Rosas and wife Esther, and Bernardo Rosas and wife Catalina; daughters, Maria Guadalupe Ortega and husband Enrique, San Juana Rosas and husband Jesus, Mayra Rosas and husband Rojelio and Isidra Rosas; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous other loving family members.
