Marian K. Strey, age 79 of Seguin, passed away on November 3, 2011. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Emanuel's Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul J. Zwarich officiating. Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery. Marian was born on July 22, 1932 in Guadalupe County to Walter and Mabel Hartmann Krueger. She is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her loving husband of 61 years, Marvin V. Strey; son, Fredlein Strey and wife Susan; sisters, Ruth Beutnagel and husband Charles, and Helen Cochran and husband Howard; nephews, Timothy Beutnagel and Kevin Beutnagel and wife Peggy; nieces, Lisa Dow and husband Mike, and Wendy Cochran; several great-neices and great-nephews and cousins.
