Marie Inez Hubbard, age 36 of Seguin, entered into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 14, 2021. Marie was born on May 31, 1985 in Seguin to Roberto Melendez and Esmeralda (Cortez) Rodriguez.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary followed by the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 p.m. A procession will depart Tres Hewell Mortuary on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. for the Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Seguin, at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ponciano Cortez, Maria Inez Melendez and Delfino Melendez Rodriguez. Survivors include her loving husband, Jack Hubbard Jr.; her parents Robert and Esmeralda Rodriguez; her brothers, Robert Rodriguez Jr., and Anthony Rodriguez; her adoring children, Destiny Vigil, Jeffrey Hubbard and Jrue Hubbard; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and many, many friends.

Marie was such a happy person. She never met a stranger! With her glowing personality and loving soul, it was hard not to fall in love with Marie. She was outgoing and helpful, she loved dancing and going to concerts and enjoying the company of friends. Marie was a city girl at heart, always thriving and enjoying life to the fullest, making jokes and always there to lend an ear and a shoulder to whomever needed her. Marie was a devoted mother and wife; her family was the light of her life and they will miss her every second of everyday.
