Marie Pacheco, age 88 of Seguin, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on July 19, 2012. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 12 to 7 p.m. with an evening service at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Rudy Guerra officiating. A funeral procession will depart funeral home at 9:30 a.m. for 10 a.m. graveside service and interment at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park on Monday, July 23, 2012. Marie was born Guadalupe County, TX on January 26, 1924 to Catarino and Inocencia Garcia Rico. She was a devoted wife, homemaker and raised five wonderful children. With a marriage of 55 years, she is preceded by her loving husband Jose Pacheco, Sr.; parents; brothers, Catarino, Joe, and Tomas; sister, Petra and daughter, Alicia. Survivors include her sons and daughters, Christina Martinez and husband Lolo, Joe Pacheco, Jr. and wife Gloria, David Pacheco and wife Mary Helen, Irene Pacheco Herzog and husband Frank, and Roy Pacheco, Sr.; siblings, Willie, Gilbert, and Olivia; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers include her grandchildren: Eric Herzog, AJ Martinez, Michael Martinez, Noel Pacheco, Rene Pacheco, and Robert Pacheco.
