Mario R. Paredes, age 47 of Seguin, formerly of Laredo, passed away on July 4, 2008. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7, 2008 beginning at 9:30 a.m. with a service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Brother Willard Rippen officiating. Interment will be private at a later date. Mario was born on September 13, 1960 in Laredo, Texas to Pedro S. and Maria Ramirez Paredes. Mario will be remembered as a welder at the Alamo Group in Seguin and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. His mother precedes him in death as does a nephew Timothy Paredes. Survivors include his son, Marqus Stovall Paredes; father, Pedro S. Paredes; brothers, Pedro R. Paredes, Jr. and wife, Gema, Armando R. Paredes and wife, Norma, Robert R. Paredes, and Pablo R. Paredes and wife, Andrea; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial contributions may be made to the Marqus Stovall Paredes Fund, 2955 Tschoepe, Seguin, Texas 78155.
