Marvin Carl August Friedeck, age 90 of Seguin, passed away on November 18, 2011. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 21, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Emanuel's Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul J. Zwarich officiating. Interment with military honors under the auspices of the American Legion H. U. Wood Post 245 will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery. Marvin was born on October 21, 1921 in Marion, Texas to Hugo and Louise Bulgerin Friedeck. He proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Army. He will also be remembered as a long time employee of Crump Lumber and Hardware. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 69 years, Thusnelda M. Friedeck on September 6, 2011, his parents and his brother, Reno Friedeck. Survivors include his daughters, Sandy Clopton and husband Rusty, Jeannie Hall and husband Tom, and Earlene Jarzombek and husband Jerald; grandchildren, Russell Clopton and wife Pam, David Clopton and wife Susan, Stephanie Warncke, Emily Warncke, Jaclyn Ruli and husband Joseph, Julie Jarzombek and Jake Jarzombek; great-grandchildren, Paul, Verona and Joseph Clopton, John Thomas, Madeleine, and Clare Ruli; brother, Helmuth Friedeck and wife Evelyn; sister, Lucille Friedeck Tschoepe; sisters-in-law, Elnora Friedeck Dove and Esther Mayer; numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members. Serving as pallbearers will be Russell Clopton, David Clopton, Jake Jarzombek, Gary Friedeck, Leroy Alves and William Maierhofer.
