Marvin "Ted" Henderson, age 91 of Seguin, passed away on February 2, 2016. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 5, 2016 at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel at 2 p.m. with Rev. Roy Hall and Rev. B.F. Flowers officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery. Ted was born on February 10, 1924 in Staples, Texas to Clarence Berry and Ethel Touay (Cochran) Henderson A military man since the age of 19, Ted proudly served his country in the United States Army 79th Infantry Division at Utah Beach during the Normandy Invasion of World War II. Ted is preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years, Dorothy "Dot" Pape Henderson; his parents; siblings Alvin Martin Henderson, Grady Berry Henderson, Carey Judson Henderson, Loraine Mildred Moore, Audrey Berthaline Wimberly, Coleen Henderson. Ted is survived by his daughter, Sharon Sue "Shari" Hood and husband James; son, Galen Ted Henderson and wife Latricia; grandchildren, Dana Kaye Hood Kincaid and husband Carlton, Kelli Renee Hutka and husband Michael, Amber Nicole Henderson Bailey and husband Jim and Justin Garrett Henderson and wife Jennifer; great grandchildren, C. J. Kincaid, Cassidy Kincaid, Evan Hutka, Krista Hutka, Braden Bailey, Luke Bailey and Avery Henderson; sister-in-law, Beth Pape; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Serving as pallbearers will be Carlton Kincaid, Michael Hutka, Justin Henderson, C. J. Kincaid, Jim Bailey, Derek Faldik and Aaron Robinett.
