Marvin Herman "Grandpa" Vader, age 83 of New Berlin, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2011. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from Noon to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church of Elm Creek with Pastor Anne Kolmeier officiating. Graveside services and interment under the auspices of the Bluebonnet Masonic Lodge No. 1219 A.F. & A.M. will follow in Christ Lutheran of Elm Creek Cemetery. Marvin was born on March 21, 1928 in Cibolo, Texas to Alfred and Lena Zunker Vader. He was a 50 year member of the Bluebonnet Masonic Lodge No. 1219 A.F. & A.M. His parents preceded him in death as did his brother Melvin Vader and sister Dorothy Bading. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Dorothy (Warncke) Vader, sons Gary and wife Darnell, Keith and wife Norma, sister Vernell Crosnoe, grandchildren Judy, William, and Colton, one niece, numerous nephews, and many friends.
