Mary Nell Allison Brewer, age 88 of Seguin, passed away on July 11, 2024.  She was surrounded by loved ones and caregivers and of course her 2 little dogs when she went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ. Mary Nell was born in the Azalea state of Georgia on February 15, 1936 to Ruth Elisabeth (Hosea) and Guy Prior Allison.

Her family made a move to San Antonio, Texas where she proudly became a Texan through and through.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband John DeLay Brewer, her parents, her brother Guy Allison of Corpus Christi, and the father of her children, Howard Harwood.

Mary Nell is survived by her two children, her son from Wimberley Allison John "AJ" Harwood and his wife Devrie, and her daughter from Seguin, Helen "Betsy" Elizabeth Harwood; granddaughters Heather and Holly; extended Family members Walker and wife Cindy Brewer of Seguin, Lance DeLay and wife Kristin Brewer and daughter Bryndle of La Vernia, Shelly and Jarrett Blair of La Vernia, and Resa Lubbock; a loving passel of extended grands, great grands and great, great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.

The private family service will be led by Bro. Butch Ikels from The Country Church in Marion.

Serving as Pallbearers are Lance DeLay Brewer, John Michael Batot, Dusty Jahns, Levi Anderson, Leslie Johnson, Christopher Poe and Micah Johnson.
