Mary Lucille Davis, age 88 of Seguin, passed away on June 3, 2014. Visitation will begin on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 11 a.m. followed by funeral services at 1 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Ed Davis officiating. Private interment will be held at a later date at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Mary was born on November 4, 1925 in Paris Texas to Felix Lamar and Avie Anna (Dubose) McGown. She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Earl Davis and her parents. Survivors include her sons, Joe Davis and wife Rosario and Tom Davis; grandchildren, Jacquelyn Hardin, Paul Davis and Nina Davis; great-grandsons, Brady and Tyler; brother, Lamar McGown and wife Larita; sister, Ann Miller and husband Wally; sisters-in-law, Marjorie Davis Piersol and husband Warren, Ruth Davis Betsill and husband Billy Joe and Fay Davis Levin and husband Myron; numerous nieces and nephews.
