Mary Elizabeth Dibrell, age 88 of Seguin, passed away on June 6, 2015. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at San Geronimo Cemetery, followed by a celebration of life service at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Andy Smith and Rev. Bill Knobles officiating. Mary was born on September 22, 1926 in Karnes County to Stanley R. and Robena (Keller) Horwood. Over the years Mary enjoyed being active in many organizations, among her favorites were the United Methodist Women and the Retired Teachers Association. She is preceded in death by her husband, Judge Joseph B. Dibrell, Sr.; her parents; sisters, Ruth Barker and husband Charles, Esther Dunagin, sister-in-law Elizabeth Horwood, Jeanne Rector, Peggy Dibrell, Evelyn Dibrell; and brothers-in-law, Edwin Walter Dibrell, Jr., T. Kellis Dibrell, Robert P. Rector, Jr., Philip Dibrell, and William H. Dibrell. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Jane Price; son Joseph B. Dibrell, Jr. and wife Holly Lee Dibrell; grandchildren, Angela Marie Price, Jacqueline Michelle Meyer and husband Mark, and Sara Elise Dibrell; great-grandchild Alexandra Noelle Meyer; brother Stanley Keller Horwood, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and loving family members.
