Beth Lange passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the age of 76. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 12, 2016 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Emanuel's Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul Cannon officiating. Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery. Beth was born on November 20, 1939 in Guadalupe County to Nolan and Lucile Caroline (Erck) Kunkel. Beth Graduated from Seguin High School in 1957, where she was head cheerleader her senior year. She continued her education at the Seaton School of Nursing where she received her RN in Nursing. She worked for several years as a surgical and trauma nurse at the Seguin Hospital. Later she and Wayne became part owners of Seguin Convalescent Home where she acted as Director of Nursing. She retired from nursing in 1980. She sent the next several years on the Board of Directors and volunteering at the Heritage Museum. Beth was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Walter Lange; daughter Kirsten Ann Lange; her parents, Nolan Elroy "Sonny" Kunkel and Lucile Kunkel; sister-in-law Deanna Kohlenberg; sister and brother-in-law Loyce and Gerry Miller, all of Seguin. She is survived by her son Nolan Lange and wife Susan Massey Lange; grandson Chance Hunter Lange of Seguin; granddaughter Stephanie Darling and husband Jeremy Darling of Venus; great-granddaughter Brooke Lynn Darling of Venus; and soon to arrive great-grandson Zachary Darling; brother-in-law Kenneth Kohlenberg; beloved Labrador, Oliver, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
