Mary A. Fey, 78, passed away on January 18, 2016. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Msgr. Dennis Darilek officiating. Private interment will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Mary was born on September 1, 1937 in Dallas, Texas to William Calmore Bailey and Girtie A. (Bailey) Gordon. She attended high school at Ursuline Academy in San Antonio, Texas and then attended classes at San Antonio College and St. Mary's University. She worked as a clerk-typist at Fort Sam Houston and transferred to the Army Education Center and Public Affairs. She met and married LeRoy Fey of New Braunfels. They enjoyed their 32 plus years of marriage together with good times with both family and travel. She attended First Baptist Church in Converse when she and LeRoy lived there. Her one true passion was the love of her family who survives her, husband, LeRoy Fey of Seguin; son John T. (Tim) Sims of Seguin; grandson, John J. Sims and wife Sarah (Anderson) of St. Cloud, Minnesota; granddaughter, Tiffany J. Sims Hagan and husband Davie, of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota; great granddaughters, Caydence Hagan and Ariya Sims; sisters-in-law, Estella Wiley and husband James of Stockdale, Texas, Alice Courtney and husband Robert of Marion, Texas, Karen Gordon, Groves, Texas and Rose Marie Holann and husband Ernest of Niederwald, Texas; brothers-in-law, James G. Fey, Jerome Fey and wife Janice, and Joe Fey and wife Lynda all of New Braunfels, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Bill J. Bailey, Gregory D. Gordon and sister, Betty A. Dragoo. Memorial masses in her honor may be made to St. James Catholic Church, 510 S.
