Mary Elizabeth Herrera, age 55 of Seguin passed away on December 15, 2015. Visitation will begin on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 5 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with the recitation of the rosary to be held at 7 p.m. with Deacon Nick Carrillo officiating. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Msgr. Dennis Darilek officiating. Graveside services and interment will follow in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Stockdale Texas with Deacon Ben Jimenez officiating. Mary was born on February 2, 1960 in Jourdanton Texas to Francisco and Margie (Trevino) Lopez. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Larry Lopez and Leonard Lopez. Survivors include her loving husband, Tony Herrera; children, Ian Sandoval and wife Heather, Iris Hernandez and husband Jesse, Lynn Medrano and husband Ray, and Bianca Herrera and husband Steve; grandchildren, Ernest San Miguel, Alexiana Morales and Steve Herrera, Jr.; siblings, Edward Lopez and wife Mary Jane, Grace Gusman, Gilbert Lopez, JoAnn Medina and husband Robert, Frank Lopez and wife Nelda, Yvonne Garcia and husband Luis, Adam Lopez, and Hector Lopez and wife Shalyn; mother-in-law, Nieves Herrera; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and many friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Ramon Herrera, Steve Larick, Jesse Hernandez, Ray Medrano, Adam Lopez, Hector Lopez, Esteban Lopez and Steve Herrera.
