Mary Ann Holzmann, age 78 of Keller, formerly of New Braunfels, passed away on November 6, 2011. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 2 to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Rosary will be recited Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Seguin followed by the mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Msgr. Dennis Darilek officiating. Entombment will follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum. Mary Ann was born on April 9, 1933 in Stanberry Missouri to George and Frances Riley Gunter. She is preceded in death by her husband Gerald Maurice Holzmann, Jr., her parents and her brother, William Gunter. She is survived by her daughters, Carrie Kraft and husband Jeff, and Kimberly Schorn and husband Scott; grandchildren, Meagan Hall and husband Justin, Paige Kraft, Sam Kraft, Kelley Schorn and Allison Schorn; brothers, Jerry Gunter, John Riley Gunter, David Gunter, Anthony Gunter and wife Eva, and Mike Gunter and wife Blanche; sisters, Alice Bergfalk, Theresa Sullivan and husband Danny, and Jeanna Garcia and husband Damian; sister-in-law, Mary Gunter; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
