Mary Louise Schwanz, age 66 of Seguin, went to be with the Lord on January 11, 2010. Visitation will begin at Tres Hewell Mortuary on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. followed by a service celebrating her life at 2:00 p.m. in the Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Neil Kibbe officiating. Private interment at a later date will be held at Eden Cemetery. Mary was born in Marion on February 28, 1943 to Henry and Lillie Hensel Gohlke. Her parents and sister Martha preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband Roland Schwanz; daughters, Marilyn Brown and husband John, Kathy Brown and husband Danny, Betty O'Neal and husband David and Carol Blades and husband Steve; grandchildren, Megan Brown, Justin O'Neal, Stephanie Brown, Casey Blades and Tiffany Blades; sisters, Ruthie Krueger and husband Willie and Roselyn Pyle; brother Harvey Gohlke; dear friend, Betty Glenewinkel; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
