Obituary

Maxine Lois Cramblitt, age 86 of Pasadena, Maryland passed away on May 13, 2024.  Maxine was born in Onego, West Virginia to Clara (Raines) and Jefferson Arbogast.  At the age of four Maxine moved to Maryland.  She graduated from Eastern High School in Baltimore Maryland in 1957 and married the love of her life, Kenneth Cramblitt, Sr., in October of the same year.

Maxine retired as a credit manager at McCormick & Company, Inc. in March of 1993 to care for her husband.  She was a loving mother who enjoyed cooking, boating and playing cards.  Her most precious times were spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She forged a strong bond between her Texas and Maryland families, often splitting her time between the two states.

Maxine loved the Lord and was a member of Arundel Christian Church in Glen Burnie, Maryland.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 36 years, Kenneth Cramblitt, Sr., her parents, and her siblings, Violet Kruger, Carl Arbogast, and Wanda West.

Survivors include her son, Kenneth Cramblitt, Jr. and wife Valerie; daughter, Karen Blevins and husband Gary; grandchildren who knew and loved her as "Grandma", Laura Rice and husband William, Rebekah Ramos and husband Taylor, Adam Blevins, Kenneth Cramblitt, III and wife Becca, Rachel Hayes and husband Cameron, Clara Day and husband Alec, Ruth Cramblitt and Rosemary Cramblitt; great-grandchildren, Wesley Day, William Rice, Jonathan Cramblitt, and Harvey Day; sister-in-law, Lois Forsyth; several nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.

A memorial service celebrating Maxine's life will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel in Seguin, Texas with the Rev. Dr. Brice Mandaville officiating.

A celebration of life service will also be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 with a gathering beginning at 11 a.m. followed by service at 12 noon at McCully Polyniak and Collins Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
