Mayra Noemi Guevara, age 21 passed away on August 12, 2023. Mayra was born October 04, 2001 in Seguin Texas to Dora and Aliver Guevara.

Mayra enjoyed singing, dancing, taking pictures, and eating her favorite foods. Mayra's most treasured times were spent with family and friends. Mayra loved traveling and experiencing new things with the family she created; she especially loved making lifelong memories with her baby boy. Mayra could always light up the room with the most contagious laugh. She was such a caring person and loved to speak about God. She made such an amazing impact on everyone she loved.

Mayra was preceded in death by her Abuelo, Ricardo Guevara.

Survivors include her son, Elliott DeLaCruz; parents Dora and Aliver Guevara; grandparents, Rosa and Albino Almanza and Micaela Guevara; brother Aliver Guevara Jr. and Wife Brittany; sisters Bianca Ortega and husband Micheal, Alexandria Guevara and partner Daveon Butler; significant other, Joseph DeLaCruz; and family members Tina DeLaCruz, Joseph DeLaCruz Sr., Ramona DeLaCruz, Joaquin DeLaCruz, and Rihanna DeLaCruz.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Aliver Guevara Jr, Daveon Butler, Ricardo Guevara, Marcos Villamil, Noah Mendoza, and Angel Saucedo Jr.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Joseph DeLaCruz Jr, Elliott DeLaCruz and Joaquin DeLaCruz.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 28, 2023, beginning at 4:00 p.m. with a service at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Michael Moak officiating at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel. A graveside service will be Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Victor Garza Memorial Cemetery near Zuehl.
