Melinda Reininger Mueller, age 85 of Seguin, formerly of La Vernia, passed away on May 18, 2015. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 310 Seguin Street in La Vernia with Rev. Dr. Robert M. Palan officiating. Interment will follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery. Melinda was born on April 18, 1930 in Seguin, Texas to Erhard J. and Nora (Henk) Reininger. She worked for forty plus years at State Bank of La Vernia. She is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Hilmar "Nooky" Mueller, her parents, her twin sister, Melitta Rabe, sisters, Clara Lackey, Adelaide Schwarz Lamprecht, Julia Lehmann, Ruby Koehler and her twin, Ruben Reininger and brother William Reininger. Survivors include her loving daughter, Ruth Ander and husband Greg; grandson, Aaron Ander; sister, Anna Marie Schievelbein and husband Edgar; brothers, Jerome Reininger and wife Leona, Leroy Reininger and wife Maxine, Freddy Reininger, and James Reininger and wife Marlene; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Argent Court for their loving care and kindness to Melinda. She made many friends and shared many treasured times with them while at Argent Court.
