Melvin A. "Sonny" Mueller, age 75 of Seguin passed away on November 17, 2014. Visitation will be held from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2014 at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Jeremy Roy officiating. Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery. Sonny was born June 25, 1939 in Schertz, Texas to Melvin Edgar Mueller and Lola Ella (Schuetz) Mueller. He faithfully served his country in the United States Coast Guard for over 20 years having lived in Florida most of that period. He met and married his wife Diane in Florida. Sonny went on to teach Auto Mechanics at Leto High School in Tampa Florida. He and his family moved to Seguin in 1979, where he worked at Starcke Park Golf Course for over 20 years. His most precious time was spent with his family and cooking his Tuesday night dinners. His parents precede him in death. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Diane E. Mueller; children, Katharine Howard and husband Mark, Mike Mueller and wife Carrie, David Mueller and wife Emily; grandchildren, Mason and Jeff Mueller, Logan and Noah Howard, Douglas Mueller; siblings, Donald Mueller, Kenneth Mueller and wife Linda, Ray Mueller, Katherine "Sissy" Hatfield and husband Robert; brother-in-law, Ronald Nichols and wife Terry; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and many friends. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
