Michael (Mike) D. Young, age 44 of Seguin, passed away on November 26, 2012. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Jeremy Roy officiating. Private interment will be held at a later date. Mike was born on August 10, 1968 in Bluffton, Indiana to Jerry Dwight and Margaret Louise Ellison Young. He grew up in Bryant, Indiana where he graduated from Jay County High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy for four years. Mike worked at Continental, Inc. in Seguin for the past 9 years. He enjoyed motorcycle rides, fishing trips, watching football and traveling with friends and family. He is preceded in death by his parents and his maternal grandparents, Bernard and Garnett Ellison and his paternal grandparents, Oakus and Pearl Young. Survivors include his loving wife of 12 years, Martina L. Young; daughter, Kimberly Nicole Young; sons, Hayden Edward Young and Michael Ryan Herrera; sister, Teresa Green and husband Donny of Bryant, In., nieces and nephews, Ashley and Cierra Nichols, Portland In., Jeremy Newlin and wife Ashley of Wichita Ks., Garrett Machado, Lance Machado, Marissa Lopez and Jonsi Zuniga; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Delfino and Vidalia Lopez; numerous other loving family members and friends. Memorial contributions may be made to any children's charity of choice.
