Michael Linden Hanley, age 69 of Seguin, passed away on March 15, 2024.  Michael was born in San Antonio, Texas on January 5, 1955, to Barbara Jane (Mitchell) and John Paul Hanley.

Michael graduated from Highlands High School in San Antonio.  After high school, he joined the United States Navy and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War.  Upon completion of his military service, Michael worked for over 20 years as a small jet engine repair mechanic at Kelly Air Force Base.

In his retirement, he rebuilt old computers and enjoyed donating them to children who did not have a computer. He loved all oldies, old commodore computers were his favorite, as well as old music and old movies.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, James Hanley, and his former wife and mother of his sons, Eleanor Hebert.

Survivors include his loving wife, Patricia Hanley; sons, Jeremiah Hanley and wife Christina, and David Hanley and wife Barbara; grandchildren, Aurora Hanley, Ayla Hanley, Phoenix Hanley, Alex Hanley, and Adalynn Hanley; siblings, Teri (Hanley) Robinson and husband Clifton, Paul Hanley and wife Tammy, and Cindy (Hanley) Wlazelek and husband Brian, Stephen Hanley & wife La Donna; cousin, Dr. Laura Vallier.

A Memorial Rosary will be recited on Monday, March 25, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church followed by the Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Canon Stanislaw Fiuk officiating.  Private interment will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
